Our team

Careers4Change is on a growth trajectory, responding to the demand for more talented professionals to bring their passion and their leadership potential to push forward the social change agenda. Our own growing team is a reflection of the urgency for concerted action in the face of climate change, energy crisis, social and political instability and inequality around the world.

Sheena Pentin

Founder and Director of Careers4Change

Sheena founded Careers4Change in response to the need for an effective ‘conduit’ to connect exceptional talent with social impact organisations in a world facing ever more complex social and environmental challenges. Much of her earlier career was spent in senior management roles at global organisations such as Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal, coaching colleagues and building teams.

She left corporate life in pursuit of a social impact role, and serendipity led her to a social enterprise, turned impact investment firm. It was there that she recognised that social organisations require easier access to professionals with a combination of the right skill sets, innovative mindset, and social motivation if they are to really accelerate the pace of change.  She is in a unique position to guide others through a transition in their careers, having pursued a non-linear career herself, across the corporate, social enterprise, impact investment and charity sectors.
